Consistently ranked among the top arts festivals in the country by the readers of American Style Magazine, the Scottsdale Arts Festival has been an Arizona tradition since 1971. The three-day event features 200 jury-selected artists from throughout North America who display their work for sale on the beautiful grounds of the Scottsdale Civic Center Mall. Works of art are available for purchase directly from the artists and from the Scottsdale Arts Festival’s online art auction. Visitors also enjoy continuous live music and entertainment from Arizona’s top bands and performers, temporary art projects, fun activities for children and families at Imagine Nation, delicious foods and beverages including a wine and beer tasting garden, free admission to the Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art (SMoCA) and free parking and shuttle service.

Commemorative Air Force Arizona Wing Aviation Museum will open a new exhibit titled “Triumph Over Adversity.” It is dedicated to the Black pioneers of aviation and to the offers and enlisted personnel of the Tuskegee Airmen who served during WWII.
Additional Info: The Commemorative Air Force (CAF) Arizona Wing Aviation Museum's exhibit titled “Triumph Over Adversity” is dedicated to the Black pioneers of aviation and to the officers and enlisted personnel of the Tuskegee Airmen who served during WWII. This is in recognition of the positive experience, the outstanding record of accomplishment and the superb behavior of all black airmen, especially those of the 91st Fighter Squadron, the 322nd Fighter Group and the 477th Bombardment Group (collectively known as the Tuskegee Airmen) who were important factors in the initiation of social change to achieve racial equality in America.
Among the warbirds on display for the exhibit will be a reduced scale P-51”Mustang” and the museum’s B-17 Flying Fortress “Sentimental Journey”, B-25 “Mitchell” Bomber, North American SNJ/T-6 “Texan”, Stearmans, and many more. Warbird rides and gift certificates are available for purchase. The museums gift shop offers unique aviation gifts for the entire family.
Stadium Tours
Tour of the University of Phoenix Stadium as an expert guide details the history, construction, operation and events that take place in the facility. •Saturdays. Naturalist-led hike of approximately three miles round-trip to the highest point of the park. Bring water, a snack, suitable shoes or boots.

•Fridays at 6pm in January and February, 7pm in March. Campfire. We provide the fire; you provide the fun, music, and story-telling.
